What a great addition to the Northern VA/DC Metro food scene!! Bring a foodie, let’s me first talk about the food. We had Jodhpur Thali and the food was amazing! You realize the quality of the food as soon as you take the first sip of ‘masala chhas’ (buttermilk). Since it was a rajasthani thali, what followed chhas was a aromatic and authentic bouquet of daal-baati, churma, halwa, at least 4 variety of vegetables, kadhi, daal, kale chane, kababs, dhokla and many other items. You can get an aroma of pure ghee when you have baati, roti/fulka and other food. We all were stuffed. Can’t wait to go back for the Agra Thali and Purani Dilli Thaal.

We had a great time dining at Jodhpur at Herndon, Virginia today. Food was excellent and we enjoyed a scrumptious meal. Ambiance was very welcoming and we look forward to dine at jodhpur often.

As someone from Jodhpur, I found the food very reminiscent of home. Top quality food the whole family can enjoy. We had the Rajasthani Thali and loved it. The food is some of the best we have had in the NOVA area. The ambience is wonderful, as well. There were a few hiccups in service, but that is the case with many new restaurants and should hopefully be resolved in the future. We look forward to coming back again and trying different thalis

Absolutely authentic Indian thali! The food was delicious. Best Indian food I have ever had in the US.
